１９９７年８月５日と６日、茨城県高萩市のボランティアグループ・タイド主催による「きずなコンサート」が行われた。アメリカの音楽業界誌、ビルボードマガジンで「ナンバーワン、コンテンポラリージャズアーティスト」と評されるケイコマツイ・グループが登場。ケイコが奏でる美しい音楽は会場を埋めた観客のハートをつかんだ。ケイコと夫でプロデューサーの尺八奏者カズ・マツイにコンサートの成功を心から感謝します。そしてLAからやってきたバンドの皆さんありがとう。この素晴らしい音楽を分かち合えたコンサートを私たちはいつまでも忘れないでしょう。 |
On August 5th
and 6th of 1997, TIDE presented two nights of Keiko Matsui "The #1
Contemporary Jazz Independent Artist" ---Billboard Magazine May 24,
1997 --- as part of her DREAM WALK JAPAN TOUR, here in Takahagi, Ibaraki
in Japan. We named it "Kizuna (a bond of friendship) Concert".
Keiko's spiritual music touched many peoples' hearts in the packed hall.
More than 15 local newspapers/ magazines featured articles about the concert

and her husband/ producer/ master of Shakuhachi (bamboo flute), Kazu Matsui.
